2014 Challenge newsletter

TGOC since 1980 B&W no tint trans

It’s taken a little longer than anticipated…

… but here is the 2014 Challenge newsletter, packed with news and info for the Class of 2014. Click on the words “TGOC14 newsletter low res” below this message to be taken to the download/PDF.

This newsletter comes with no guarantees – as grown-ups plotting a self-supported backpack from the west coast of Scotland to the east, Challengers are expected to check and double-check any information within the newsletter themselves.

Those – the 99% – who have submitted their routes are asked not to revise them on the basis of the information in the newsletter but rather to use it as a resource for the walk itself: feel free to inform Control, during the walk, if you expect to have to adjust route route slightly to take things like newly sprouted wind turbines into account, as you would any other unforeseen natural hazard.

This newsletter is also available at The Great Outdoors Magazine website’s Challenge resources page.
